“The Empire” is finally out!

To call the city of Chicago’s contributions to modern dance music significant would be an understatement. A city on the world, Chicago has always been a melting pot of European and American influences, resulting in the birth of house music. And now, in the tradition of the great city it calls home, Stripped & Chewed Records presents a collection of artists from around the world that together define the sound of house music: Stripped & Chewed Vol 1: Livin’ for the City EP.
From Paris to the Windy City, this promising young label selected the very finest and freshest voices in dance to introduce themselves. Representing Europe, you’ll find house savant, Alec Carlsson, Southampton’s Ridney, live production master, Maxime F. and Italy’s finest, Broke One. Standing strong for North America, are slo-mo master, JNL of Canada and Chicago high priestess, The Black Madonna. Last, but not least, come S&C’s formidable label bosses, Lee Dunn (Ghosts Of Venice) and Garrett Shrigley (Adulture) working together as SCR. While the roster is diverse, together they create an uncompromising vision of house music that inspires and sticks to its guns, rather than catering to the lowest common denominator.
